This former manse, built in 1806 was previously home to Frances Shand Kydd, mother of the late Diana, Princess of Wales. It was visited by Diana and her sons, the Princes William and Harry.The 6 elegant bedrooms are beautifully furnished and come with Sealy Posturepedic beds, down duvets, and electric blankets for a great nights sleep. There is a guests Drawing Room with open fire for Scotland's chillier evenings, and a bright and airy conservatory where breakfast is served.Within 40 minutes of Edinburgh, St Andrews, Perth and Dundee, the property is ideally located for touring and business. Within 30 minutes of over 50 golf courses, there is plenty of choice for those with the golf bug.The welcome is warm, and this family-run BandB offers a real 'home from home' feel. Breakfasts are superb, and we cater for all preferences and dietry requirements. Directions
From the South. Leave M90 at J 2a and take A92 towards Kirkaldy and Glenrothes. Keep on A92 past Kirkaldy and Glenrothes until the New Inn roundabout. Take 1st left on A912 for 2 miles. Just before village house is signposted on left. From North and Perth, take M90 to J 9. Take A912 to Gateside and left onto A91. Take right at Strathmiglo and follow signs for Falkland. Continue through Falkland, over mini-roundabout and we are 300 yards on the right.
